- Smugglers Cottage Children's Playhouse
Treetop's Smugglers Cottage children's
playhouse is a large (8x6) apex roofed kids playhouse, featuring two chimneys, a stable-style single door, plus four
windows with mock shutters, and window boxes to front and side as standard. These playhouses
are manufactured from good quality Swedish timber, however the building is
supplied untreated.
Please Note: The
building shown has been painted (Poppy & White) for photographic purposes only. A
decorative treatment option is available at an extra charge.
Child safety features
include piano-style 'no-trap' hinges to the door and safety Perspex
glazing. In common with the entire range, this model has been
manufactured to European safety standard EN71.

Quality Construction
All buildings are manufactured
using 32x32mm framing on each panel, which gives an effective frame
thickness of 64x32mm throughout the building. diagonal bracing on some models.
All playhouses in this range are manufactured to the British Safety
Standard BS 5665.
Doors and Safety
Stable-doors are standard with this
model, and they come with piano-style safety hinges to stop small
fingers getting trapped. Child safe Perspex glazing is supplied instead
of glass.
Straight-forward Assembly
These buildings are supplied in an easy to assemble flat-pack
complete with instructions. Only basic
tools are required, and no professional experience is necessary.
The modular style allows for individual positioning of doors and
windows.
Normally 2 people can usually complete the job in 2-5 hours, but an erecting service is also available at an extra charge
(depending on your area) if required. Please
ask when placing your order.
