The Scott Glynn Experience!
  • Scott was born in 1963 and brought up in a tiny fishing village on the east coast of Scotland called Port Seton. He now lives just a few miles away in the mining town of Tranent.

  • He cut his rugby teeth at Preston Lodge High, then went on to play with P.L. Rugby Club. He still continues to play today with Ross High R.F.C (3rd's), and the over 35's. He is also coach and team manager for the under 16's, and in 2005 became club president. Scott was actually the first professional rugby player in East Lothian, he was paid the massive sum of £2000 by ADIDAS to wear PUMA.

  • Scott is involved with volunteer organisations and charities, and in April 2001 he raised over £8000 for The Maggies Centre after walking across The Sahara Desert.

  • In 2005, Scott has starred alongside Tara Palmer-Tompkinson in an TV advert for AUTOTRADER, and played a tough guy on the popular TAGGART television drama... check out the latest photos on the photogallery. He has recently just shot a video for KRONENBOURG 1664, and also does pantomimes and summer shows with 'The Centre Stage Company'. In addition to his acting and stand-up career, Scott is in great demand as an after-dinner speaker and M.C., and has bookings up to two years in advance.

  • Scott has spoken at venues all over the country, from Fraserburgh down to Bristol, and has had the privilege of sharing top tables with sporting legends such as football's Sir Alex Ferguson, Walter Smith, Jim Leishman, Alan Kennedy, Nobby Stiles, Jimmy Nichol and Billy McNeill and from the rugby world Kenny Milne, Andy Nicol, Richard Hill, Australian star Michael Foley, and the Welsh legend..... Max Boyce.

  • So sit back, listen and enjoy tales of village life, rugby, and everyday occurrences as seen through the eyes of Scott Glynn, one the funniest speakers around, and as he assures us ....... IT'S A TRUE STORY !
